All level 1 classes are 60 minutes. Level 1 classes run on a rotating curriculum so new practitioners get plenty of repetition in the core positions/situations.
This is a combination class with a mixture resistance drilling, and constraints led games, all with an emphasis on foundational positions and techniques from standing to ground work. Beginner friendly.
Level 2 classes are 60 minutes. Level 2 classes run on a 2-3 month cycles of focused topics, allowing deeper dive on positions and situations. Class structure is 60% situational sparring and 40% free form sparring
The structure of these classes will be similar to the level 1 featuring standing/ground work and a mixture of constraints led games and free form sparring. However this class may explore more advanced topics and positions.
Therefore it’s recommended that participants have at least 2 cycles of the level 1 program completed (6 months experience) or instructor approval. Somewhat beginner friendly.
This is an advanced level class designed for people who have aspirations to compete.
The instructor may take time to explain advanced details about positions that often require a base of knowledge to grasp easily. This class will mostly use live resistance drilling and constraints led games in more complex and experimental positions than the level 1 and level 2 classes. Free form sparring in this class is likely, but up to the discretion of the instructor.
It is recommended that practitioners have at least a blue belt or higher or instructors approval. Not beginner friendly.
Combination of levels 1 & 2.
Every Saturday, this is a 60 minute class. It covers 3 main scenarios each week, from standing, guard work, pinning/submission scenarios. Class is taught with constraint led games and live interactions. Beginner friendly.
